Data & evidence
What this build actually contains: each layer with its source, count and snapshot, the links the answers rest on, and the one thing deliberately not drawn.
How the data reaches this map
No crawler, and the map does not call these sources. A build-time pipeline fetches the public datasets, writes about 5.7 MB of derived GeoJSON into app/public/data/geo, and the browser fetches only the layers a reader switches on. The full description is docs/62-geospatial-data-architecture.md, and the pipeline is fetch_geo.py, build_geo_layers.py, audit_geo.py.

Why there is no map drawn here
Airspace is not republished. The authoritative sources are NAV CANADA and the Drone Site Selection Tool, and a second rendering that drifted from theirs would be trusted at exactly the moment it should not be.
The corpus also holds no aerodrome coordinates — the regulations name distances from aerodromes, not their positions — so drawing rings would mean inventing placement. Using a licensed dataset is a data-rights question, not a coding one.

Where the map data comes from
Every layer records its source, licence and snapshot date in the manifest the viewer reads. A layer that is not listed there is not drawn.
